This class is an Anasa based practice that incorporates a variety of somatic modalities (pilates, calisthenics, primal/contemporary movement, and more) to give the body an hour of heat building and strength training juxtaposed with moments of deep release. Welcoming all levels, this practice invites you to not only tap into your power but also your ability to find freedom and ease within the body.
The class will go walk through sequences as means to connect them with breath and as well breakdown poses to dive deeper into them.
Open vinyasa is based on alignment, breath and intention. Instead of “levels” consider the class an opportunity to explore, move, meditate and find the connection between breath and body. Students are encouraged to use props and also to invite a playful edge in the practice – Balancing both is part of the yoga.
This dance class includes a Pilates-based sensual warm-up, original music/flow dance exercises, pole technique, and improvisational dancing. Particular emphasis is given to the music and movement connection and emotional expression. All levels are welcome.
This 90-minute in-studio class combines the Goddess Warmup with an opportunity to be witnessed in movement by the class. Students have the option to choose their own music for a solo dance and to receive affirming feedback from the instructor. The class will have access to themes to expand their connection between their mind and body awareness.
Strengthen and stretch in this beginner/intermediate level mat Pilates workout. Meg Louise will lead you in flow through a movement series set to music that complements the exercises and elevates the experience. This class provides the perfect mix of muscular challenge, satisfying stretch, and tension release to feed your body and spirit.
Let’s turn it up on Thursdays and express yourself(!) with some high energy cardio followed by an active stretch, providing a full body experience. The first portion of class provides simple dance moves, fitness, and calisthenics combined to lift the heart rate, condition, and tone. The final portion of class is an active stretch for both the bigger and smaller muscle groups, releasing tension and creating more space throughout the body. Equipment needed: Supportive sneakers for cardio portion and water!
This class starts with a centering breath work followed by dynamic moves and functional mobility to warm up the body. The body of the class is inspired in Pilates and has focus on strengthening the core and the gluteus. Brazilian Booty town here we go!! Ending the class with long held stretches to cool down. This class is meant to empower you, help you move better and feel good from the inside out!
Let’s get sensual…Heel’ography is all about your free, empowered, sensual self! Class begins with a conditioning warm up followed by free movement to explore your body in heels. The final portion of class is filled with choreography…and sometimes props and poles…to unleash your fierce free self!
While this is a heels class, heels are optional! If you wanna dance, come dance! All levels welcome.
Just like the introspective and intuitive energies of the moon this higher-intensity freestyle Vinyasa flow is inspired by Hatha Yoga. Luna Soul Power is about being purposeful with your breath, embodiment, taking the time to tune in and connect with yourself. The class starts with a gentle breath work followed by a mindful flow building up to a peak pose. Expect Sun Salutations, arm balances and inversions.
This class is designed to gently unravel the physical and emotional tension locked into the body. It utilizes a simple set of exercises that facilitate the lengthening and relaxation of the psoas which allow the body to discharge stress and trauma naturally. It’s great for movers and non-movers alike, and most find it fascinating and exhilarating! Many experience unparalleled ease, relaxation and/or access to greater energy.
