Briana Panzarella

Classical Musician

Briana, a native New Yorker, began her Yoga journey back in 2013. She comes from a background of professional classical musicians where she originally pursued a life as an opera singer but found a different calling. A calling to utilize her love for music, the healing power of sound and shape-shifting movements to become more connected, to a deeper sense of self. Along with living her best Yoga life in the city, Briana has appeared in numerous commercials, TV series, and even competed in Stone Cold Steve Austin’s hit CMT reality show, “Broken Skull Challenge.” Studied & taught at Laughing Lotus, Briana completed her 550HR E-RYT and immediately began supporting & facilitating advanced teacher trainings, and guided sound healing practices such as Mantra Meditation, Sound Baths and Kirtan since 2014. Experience traditional practices, while keeping it real to modern day living. Briana is also a Yoga Asana Teacher of various approaches. Meditative & restful to dynamic & dance-like! A Bhakti Yoga practitioner & devotee to the musical practice. Briana contributes a playful, nurturing and explorative environment and strives to share from an inclusive perspective. “Bhakti itself means devotion, participation, faith, love, worship, purity and homage. When we sing or chant, we raise a vibration from within. We turn a light on love, faith and divinity, recognizing it in ourselves and in others. Bhakti is a safe place where one can show up just as they are and practice courage; Being in their own skin and voice. A time to sing, let things go, laugh, cry and connect. We don’t have the answers for everything. Sometimes we just need to sing and the answers come to us. I love to teach. It’s been a gift to be able to share these life-changing practices to all who are open to receive. And whether we are teaching or receiving the Yoga, we are tuning into the potent healing tools that all of us already possess. Yoga is to act with love; Build with love; & live with love.”
